The WORLD

about

I first watched Death Note in 2007. At the time, I had just started to discover anime in Japanese, with Naruto being my first. I quickly became hooked on anime and Death Note remained one of my favorites for many years. Of course, the song in question left a strong impression on me.

In recent years, I've watched more anime than usual and I even started taking Japanese lessons in the Duolingo app. I'm still casual about it but it's a growing interest.

I realized that I've done a lot of different music projects over the years; I've sung in English and Swedish but never in Japanese, so this was a great opportunity to try it out for once! I'm not too confident in my ability and I apologize if I butchered it at some parts but it was still a fun, challenging and new experience. I had a hard time finding a reliable English translation of the lyrics; every website had its own version.

As for the cover itself, I've worked super hard on it and I'm very pleased with the result! Everything you hear is made by me (except for the noise in the very beginning). Although, only the guitars and vocals are actually performed and recorded by me. The rest of the instruments are programmed by me using different plugins. I highly recommend you download the separate tracks to get a better look at each instrument.

It would mean The WORLD to me if you could give the video a like, a comment and share it with your friends who might be interested in it. Thank you very much!
