One of the best brony rock operas that is often overlooked. The referenced parts are woven into the original composition beautifully.
Favorite track: Act III - Scene Eight: Precedence.
Walking inside their circle
Nothing but a tragic sight
Liars, hollowed promise
Never one of the same
Your cascading futures are drifting away
Trapped in a limbo of no beginning or end
Ruthless, a meandering world
A veil over their reality
Wasted, every waking hour lying in wait
Your cascading futures are fading away
They are controlling you to be free
Skeleton paradise, realm of chaos, the strongest survives
Born in hatred, a brutal vision for revenge
A mental scar, the wounds are deep
I won't be alone in this dark reality
Deny
Negate
For my
Absolution fueled by hate
Defy
Dominate
And I
Hell on earth I'll orchestrate
I'll be the face... the face of horror
I'll be the chaos... the chaos restorer
I'll be the end... the end of the line
I'll be death... death divine
The day has come for judgement
See through the lies in an instant
Painted world in violent shades of red
Bodies fill the village of the dead
Our power and their pain
Dancing until we remain
Don't stop the noise inside my head
The fearful sound of violence
Our power will sustain
Devastate the tyrants reign
Don't stop the voice inside my head
The flawless sound of violence
Look into our eyes if you want to know the meaning of hate
Everything we lost came from blood, sweat, toil and faith
They took a free ride to a place where you drew the line
And so we brought you out from the depths of your self decline
War cry
Dictate
For my
Resolution fueled by hate
Defy
Dominate
And I
Hell on earth I'll orchestrate
They will live for war, the way they die
Bring on the taste of misery
Violent the sound the fearless screams
Here comes the pain here comes the agony
I am reborn, I am the king
I am the king of the Horde
I am the face... the face of horror
I am the chaos... the chaos restorer
Hollow void beneath the skin
Immolation burning from within
Painted world in violent shades of red
Bodies fill the castle of the dead
Our power and their pain
Dancing until we remain
Can't stop the sonance in my head
The perfect sound of violence
Our power will sustain
Devastate the tyrants reign
Can't stop the music in my head
The eternal sound of violence
Deny
Negate
For my
Conflagration fueled by hate
Defy
Dominate
And I
Hell on earth I'll orchestrate
I am the end... the end of the line
We are death... death divine
In the break of the morning
Coming in with no warning
Striking from up high
Like the size of a city
Comes the legion of horde
From a different sky
There was a torturous vision
Of a deadly collision
They watched in agony
An inconceivable terror
A celestial invader
Innocent casualties
Burning fire
Screams of pain and fear
Piercing higher
Hell on earth is here
Clouds are melting
Life just drains away
Darkness, death
This: their blackest day!
Obliteration, disintegration,
It's all turning to dust
From the force of the impact
Everything they love has combust
Their world begins to crumble
It's all just a matter of time
This is the ultimate chaos
This is the end of the line
Burning fire
Screams of pain and fear
Piercing higher
Hell on earth is here
Village ignited
Life just drains away
Darkness, death
This: their blackest day!
In the break of the morning
Striking from up high
This is the ultimate chaos
This is the end
Burning fire
Screams of pain and fear
Piercing higher
Hell on earth is here
Castles are crumbling
Life just drains away
Darkness, death
This: their blackest day!

about
This concept album tells a tragic story set in a darker world of Equestria. Equestria - for those who don't know - is the world where My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic takes place.
The story centers around Spike, the young dragon, who was born in the land of the ponies. The pony who took care of Spike since birth was Twilight Sparkle who hatched his egg during a magic exam. It seemed the ponies stole eggs from the dragons. As Spike grew older he felt more and more detached from the ponies as he was both feared and bullied for being a dragon. Years later, he decided that this can't be the life meant for him. So he took off in the middle of the night, towards the Badlands where the dragons reside. Just as Spike begins to travel, he hears a voice deep inside of him, becoming more and more clear the further he goes. This is what act 1 is about.
Act 2 is about Spike arriving at the dragons home, who are known as "The Horde". The voice inside has drastically changed him and now he's determined to become a true member of the Horde; leaving his old life behind. As he climbs the colossal mountain, he stumbles upon a group of dragons a bit older than him. They questioned if he really is a dragon, due to his aura being all but menacing. Spike explained his situation and after a round of humiliating laughs, they decided to take him to the king of the Horde. Spike was brought in and judged by the king and his council. They suspected him of being a spy or another egg-stealing-thief. Spike said everything he could to prove his innocence but they were not entirely convinced. He was put through a harsh set of trials to prove his resolve. The trials were too daunting for Spike, but he kept trying for days. Meanwhile, he became friends with some of the younger dragons he met before. Starting to trust Spike and see his potential, they took him under their wings and taught him everything they knew. Many years later, Spike not only passed every single trial, he had fully grown as a dragon. With his loyal friends, he undertook important tasks and served the Horde as his family. Ultimately, Spike grew to become the new leader of the Horde. The council saw the new strength of the Horde and knew it was time to exact revenge upon the ponies' homeland and its Queen, who not only stole their eggs but also banished them a long time ago.
The first scene of Act 3 is from the perspective of Twilight Sparkle who has learned about Spike's new position and plan to annihilate his home. Too late to evacuate everyone; a sense of hopelessness falls over her as she knows there's nothing they can really do to stop the Horde. This leads into the next and final scene where the Horde arrives and mercilessly attacks the three main places of the ponies' homeland: these being Cloudsdale, Ponyville and Canterlot. In the end it could hardly have been called a war. Nothing remained but a scorched wasteland of a once green, vast and prosperous land.
The act ends with a certain character standing on the sidelines and gazing over the total desolation, when suddenly...

Narokath is my artist/creative name but you can call me Crimz. I'm a Swedish full-time variety streamer and speedrunner

I love video games, music, cartoons, anime, nature, e-sport and expressing myself through music and commentary. My taste in music ranges from extreme metal to calm ambience.

REIMAGINE is just a really good album, all around. Each song is very good, and just has excellent energy. I'm particularly fond of Conviction (but Tempest is a great character for the style, so that's maybe no surprise). Absolutely worth a listen, and I'll have to check out more of Prince Whateverer's music. Kamani
