Today, OMORI launched on consoles. Everything was okay. I wish to congratulate OMOCAT for creating the masterpiece that is OMORI and releasing it on consoles along with physical copies; I know I can't wait for mine!

I also wish to pay tribute by sharing my rearranged Swedish vocal cover of 'When She Loved Me' from 'Toy Story 2'. I tried my best to make the lyrics fit into the lore of OMORI, specifically the bad ending.

I want the lyrics to be open for interpretation but here's mine: Sunny's soul is singing from the afterlife after having taken his own life by jumping off a hospital roof. This is implied by the lines "falling towards the ground, the light begins to approach." and "I carry in my soul.". As to why he took his own life, you'll have to play the game yourself.

This project was personal for me because I'm a very nostalgic person. Toy Story is part of my childhood and I remember this song tearing at my heartstrings, even back then. Combing this with OMORI which I absolutely fell in love with, a game that deals with loss and nostalgia, among other things. I don't consider myself a good singer but I've always love challenging myself and push my limits. I've made several vocal performances but never in Swedish, so I thought it would be fun to try it here. It ties in well with how I remember the original song back when I watched the movies in Swedish.

I tried finding an official instrumental version of the song but to no avail. So I made one myself by extracting the 5.1 surround audio from a Blu-ray and isolating the backing track. It took some work to get it right but I think the end result speaks for itself. If you're interested in the backing track; let me know!
